Elaine is a Director within Urban Development within Siemens’ Global Center of Competence for Cities in London. Elaine is engaging with cities around the globe with the aim to demonstrate how technology combined with good policy can help cities meet their development targets or carbon reductions. Elaine works alongside Siemens’ technology teams to support cities and their understanding of how changes in technology are reshaping the relationship between city managers and citizens and the opportunities there are through greater connectivity across infrastructure. Elaine has been leading efforts to help city managers better understand how they can interact with local property developers, industries and now ports and harbors. Elaine brings her nearly 10 years strategic city consulting experience with Arup, and her understanding infrastructure finance from her time with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
