Frédéric Dagnet is born on October 17, 1967, in Rouen.
After his studies in Economics, he became an analyst in a research Lab and worked on the innovation in the small and medium size companies located in the industrial port area of the port of Marseille Fos.
In 1996, he joined the Port of Marseille Authority as an analyst in the Economic Department. Then, he successively was appointed Head of Studies Dept, Head of Traffic Dept, Head of Development and Strategy Dept.
In 2006, he was appointed Strategy and Finance Deputy Director to assist the director who was also deputy CEO in the Port of Marseille Authority.
In 2008, he followed the part time Maritime MBA launched by Euromed Management in Marseille and obtained his graduation in October 2009 for his thesis about the Cube model, a port management tool based on a comparative analysis.
Since September 2009, he has chaired the Trade Facilitation & Port Community System Committee in the IAPH (International Association of Ports and Harbours).
On April 2010, he was appointed Director of Strategy and Audit Department of the Port of Marseille Authority, in charge of strategic insights and internal audit.
From 2012 to 2015, he participated to the prefiguration of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis by driving the Port and logistics workshop.
Since 2014, he is Head of the PIICTO Team in the Port of Marseille. Linked to industrial partners, the port develops in Fos a platform of innovation and opportunities for industries : circular economy, energy transition, business accelerator.
